Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In High Point, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across North Carolina run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

High Point is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and High Point follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Service was terrible, the food was below average and definitely not worth the price increase, and the owner is extremely rude and obnoxious. We ordered two bowls of soup and sent it back because it was lacking any sort of flavor. Thereβs no salt and pepper on the table and like I said before, the service was horrible so by the time she came back by, it was already cold and gross. The food came and it was OK but definitely not worth the price. When I went to pay, they still had the soup on there and try to act like we ate the soup. The owner threw a fit right there in front of all her customers making herself look incredibly ridiculous. Of course, I defended myself and was definitely not going to pay for something we didnβt eat so one of her employees decided she didnβt want to hear about it anymore and finally took the soup off the bill. We will never come back here and hopefully this review saves you from a bad experience like we had.

Probably the best sushi Iβve ever eaten! The homemade ginger salad dressing was so good. My son loved his teriyaki chicken. The exterior does not convey how good this place is, so donβt be swayed by that. Canβt wait to go back!

Ordered Sake for the first time tonight from GrubHub for my family. We had the chicken katsu, salmon avocado rolls, shrimp shumai, edamame, and fried gyozas. Our food was decent overall. The chicken katsu came in a portion size that my hungry hubby was satisfied with and my 1 year old loved the edamame. The salmon avocado roll was also decent, tasting very fresh and nicely portioned with the contents appropriate in ratio to the rice (I hate when there's too much rice in sushi) and the shumai was what I expected from most places that serve it. For the price of the whole thing on GrubHub, our order came out to a whopping $76 (20% tip for driver and $6 delivery fee) which was very pricy for similar quality menu offerings at restaurants I've had elsewhere, although I've gotten more for less. The flavor didn't merit the higher price tag. They also forgot to give us soy sauce for the sushi. I can't knock it completely, because I thought it tasted decent, but I'd definitely think twice about ordering again with this price tag to another restaurant. *Update* After their response to my review, I've decided to knock it down another star. I find it baffling a restaurant would defend overpric

I was very impressed and chose to go there because of their reviews. They had a special sushi roll that I bought and I don't remember the name but it came out flaming and it was beautiful and very impressive. The service is excellent. I drove 30 miles just to try out a new sushi place. I will be going there again. I spent about $26 for sake the large roll and a wonderful ginger salad.
